OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH AND FELLOWSHIP!
|
| Christian
Education and Youth Programs
Our
on-going ministry for members and the
community features Sunday School for
Pre-School through Adult. All classes
meet Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. during
the school year. Everyone is welcome
to join in singing in the Fellowship
Hall before dividing into age groups
for classes. We are extremely proud
of our Vacation Bible School, which
is usually held for a week in August.
Check our website and newsletter for
future dates and further information.

| Music
Music
opportunities are plentiful, whether
you are a child, youth, or adult! The
Adult Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings
at 6 :30 p.m. and before the worship
service Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. Our
Children's Choirs, known as the "Red
Robers" for elementary age children
and the "Blue Robers" for
middle-school age children, both meet
after school at 3:15 p.m. on Thursdays,
September through May. The Adult
Choir sings each week during the worship
service September through the middle
of June, while the youth choirs sing
on special occasions such as Thanksgiving,
Christmas Eve and Mother's Day. For
other ways to offer your musical talents
in service to God, please visit with
our Choir Directors or anyone on our
Music & Worship Committee.

| Youth
Groups
Youth
Groups usually meet separately for middle-school
and high school, each with their own
meeting day and time. These meetings
give youth a wonderful chance to share
and socialize as they get to know themselves
and God. With guidance they may
open up and learn to be the person God
created them to be. They will discover,
if they walk with God, they will receive
help through difficult stages of life.
Please contact our Youth Pastor, Thomas
Kim for more information, 895-5700.

| Presbyterian
Women (PW)
The
women's association of the church has
a goal to advance the work of the Kingdom
of God by bringing together women of
the church in friendship through a program
of education, service, prayer and giving.
By being a woman of this church you
are automatically a member of this group,
but it is vital to be active! Presently,
meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday
of the month at 10:00 a.m. A potluck
lunch follows.

Opportunities
Adult
Bible Study ~ Men and women meet
Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
Martha
Circle ~ Women meet the 2nd Monday
of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Spirit
Seekers ~ Women meet each Monday
afternoon at 12:30 p.m.
Companions
in Christ ~ Women meet each Monday
afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
Each
of the women's groups decide upon an
inspiring area to study. It may
be within the Bible or another book
designed to be a guide for spiritual
growth. These women each strive
to balance work, rest, study, play,
prayer and compassion as they stop,
look and listen for God in the here
and now of their every day lives. They
seek the tools needed to become all
that God wants them to be. Please
check the weekly bulletin for place
of meetings. We hope you will feel
comfortable asking someone for more
details. We want you to find just
the right group.

church Library is open to all! Feel
free to visit it behind the sanctuary

| Prayer
Concerns
You
may share prayer concerns during the
Sunday morning service, call our Pastor
(895-3419), or express them during Bible
study groups and/or be a "Prayer
Messenger". Another way is
to be part of our Prayer Chain. A
concern may be started by calling a
name on our Prayer Chain list, who in
turn calls the next person, who calls
the next person and so on, until it
comes back to the beginning. If
you would like your name to be on the
list to be included in the telephoning,
please write your name on a slip of
paper with the words "Prayer Chain"
and place it in an offering plate. You
will be contacted and given a current
list of names and phone numbers. In
this circle we help each other trust
in God's inexhaustible mercy as we become
aware of self-interest and of the conflict
between God·s way and our desires.
