John R. Mahon
Co-Executive Presbyter - Central Region

Born and raised in New Jersey, John graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles. He earned a Doctor of Religion in New Testament from the School of Theology at Claremont, CA. He served as a staff pastor in Modesto, CA; and as a small church pastor in Clatskanie, OR. He organized a Pres. church in St. George, Utah which grew from a handful to over 300 members. He was the Moderator of Utah Presbytery. He has served Cascades Presbytery in a governing body role since 2000. His vision is to support pastors and congregations in doing ministry and mission. He and his wife, Peggy, have two grown children. His interests include hiking and photography.

Hugh D. Anderson
Co-Executive Presbyter - South Region

A graduate of Westminster College in PA, Hugh earned his doctorate of ministry degree from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA. Hugh is also a Certified Christian Educator in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and served on their Certification Committee. Hugh has served as associate pastor and associate Presbytery Executive in Wisconsin and held pastorates in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Hugh and his wife Teena live in Medford and have three sons – David, James and Benjamin and four granddaughters. Their interests include travel, music, outdoor sports and reading.
